This imbalance on the energy grid ensures - especially during peak times - that we are still too dependent on fossil energy sources or imports from abroad.
A battery park - controlled by smart software - offers the possibility to store large amounts of green energy in times of overproduction for use at a later time, with the result that the share of energy used from renewable sources increases , market prices stabilize and our CO2 footprint is reduced.
